Amongst the many Switzerland festivals, the Paléo Festival is its largest open-air festival, which hosts approximately 230,000 tourists every year. The viewers attend more than 250 concerts over a period of six days. Popular artists like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Oasis and Tracy Chapman have performed here in the past. The festival takes place in the 3rd week of July, in Nyon.
