Not too far from Pattaya mainland is Koh Samet Island which is a great spot if you love the beach and want to spend some time inside and outside the water. It seems straight out of a travel guide, dotted with brightly coloured beach umbrellas and clear sparkling water in the distance. There are beach chairs where you can sink into and enjoy the views and delicious food, not too far away, in one of the many shacks that have been set up there.
Another great thing to do in Pattaya when you’re on this island is to visit Hat Sai Kaew, also known as Diamond Beach.
