Pattaya is one of Thailand’s most visited destinations. One of the favourite things to do in Pattaya for adventure enthusiasts is the Flight of the Gibbon. This 3 km course is in Chompoo National Park and has 22 zip lines and two abseiling stations.

Swinging from tree to tree like a gibbon is a sure-fire way to add some excitement and adventure in your life. Safety is given priority here and tour guides will take care of everything. As part of the tour, there is a tasty Thai lunch at the lakeside restaurant. Swinging through the trees is sure to raise your appetite!

One of the unmissable things to do in Pattaya would be the Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum. Located on the third floor of Royal Garden Plaza, this is a mindboggling collection that will have you questioning everything you know about the world.

From the bizarre to the beautiful, there’s a collection of more than 300 exhibits here, inside 10 individually themed galleries. Apart from the oddities like the mask made from human skin, there are also a number of facts and inventions that will leave you in awe. For instance, there’s a replica of the Titanic, made with more than a million matchsticks.

There’s also the Infinity Maze, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure and Ripley’s 4D moving theatre which will give you a good dose of chills and thrills.

Some of the awe-inspiring things to do in Pattaya include a visit to Buddha Mountain. Khao Chi Chan, a limestone hill is the home for the largest engraving of the Buddha on a rock. The laser-cut image was etched with a computer and later filled with gold.

The engraving on the Buddha Mountain is accompanied by a temple on its grounds where several monks can be seen, going about their business. The area where the mountain is found is called Silverlake and is known for its breath-taking natural beauty.

While this one is not for families because of the adult nature of its content, the Alcazar Cabaret Show is one of the most famed things to do in Pattaya. The performances are simply out of this world – extravagant and lavish and comprise of extremely talented and beautiful transgender performers.

A team of 400 come together to put up a show like nothing else, with around 20 themed performances. The show lasts for 70 minutes and will leave you spellbound.
