Another city favourite that has been around for years, Taberna La Bola has been owned and run by the same family for four generations, since the late 1800’s. One of the most famous dishes here is the cocido, which is also one of the best foods in Madrid. It is a chickpea stew that is cooked in clay pots over charcoal, giving the dish a smoky flavour that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.
