One such, is the Black Forest region, dotted with spa towns like Baden Baden for you to get some natural healing, while Freiburg is great to sample some award-winning Riesling wine at local vineyards. You can even bike, trek, hike along many forest routes, just ask the National Park Centre for details. Visiting the neighbouring Rhine Valley is also one of the things to do in Germany, for attractions like the Festung Ehrenbreitstein fortress, Burg Rheinstein castle and the wide-ranging Mittelrhein-Museum. When you’re tired, just visit some of the wine bars like Alte Weinstube Zum Hubertus or Winninger Weinstube.

Some other Germany tourist attractions to indulge in nature include Königsee in Bavaria, a crystalline pool of water just beckoning a day out on a kayak. Other Alpine Lakes also offer similar activities.

And if you’re still wondering what to see in Germany of natural interest, the islands of Rügen in the Baltic Sea and Insel Mainau near Lake Constance, should surely be on your list of things to do.
