Another of the must-visit places in Bhopal is the Birla Museum which showcases numerous pre-historic objects which were used in the Palaeolithic and Neolithic times. This is a fascinating place to trace the trail of history from as early as 2nd century BC. There are terracotta artefacts from that period as well as objects and manuscripts from 7th to 13th century BC. The Birla Museum is located within the premises of the Birla Temple.
