Not too far from the city, around 22kms actually is one of the best tourist places of Bangalore – Bannerghatta National Park. The park is home to a number of animals like sloth bears, tigers and lions. There’s an aquarium here as well as zoo, crocodile farm, snake park but the most famous activity here is the safari which takes you on a bus ride inside the sanctuary where you can see deer as well as tigers and lions exploring their natural habitat. There are different types of safaris here – Grand Safari as well as Lion and Tiger Safari. Tickets are sold out quickly on weekends and holidays, so try to get there before 2 pm.
