Since New Zealand is your next vacation spot, here’s what you need to know while you apply for the visa:
You have the choice of applying for an e-visa as well as at the nearest embassy. If you choose to fill an e-visa, you will need to attach copies of all your documents that are required during the process. Once your e-visa is approved, you will not be getting the visa on your passport but will have an electronic document that you need to print and carry. However, if you are travelling with family or a large group, you will need to fill the paper form and submit at the embassy.
You will need to show a valid ticket clearly stating your journey dates and your purpose of travelling. Make sure you also attach your accommodation plans while applying for the visa. If you family living there, it’s best to carry an invitation letter addressed to the consulate
You will also need to provide a financial statement, stating that you have enough funds to accommodate all your plans. New Zealand has strict rules about biodiversity and you will not be allowed to carry certain items into the country.
