Held every year in Melbourne, this is the largest and free community festival in Australia. It takes place every year in March and attracts as many as a million people spread over four days. There are colourful parades and floats, awe-inspiring fireworks, a carnival with rides and food stalls as well as music and live bands. It is certainly one of the most favourite Melbourne festivals celebrated in the city.
