At the core of SOTC’s vision to be the world’s first choice as a travel and destination management Services Company, is the imperative for sustainable growth. To SOTC, Corporate Responsibility is an integral part of its core business activity and the moral attitude that it brings to its activities. We have endeavored to integrate Corporate Responsibility as a cornerstone in our corporate strategy.
SOTC aims at minimizing the adverse impacts of tourist travel and maximizing its positive effects.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is increasing at an alarming pace in India, with approximately 1.3 million patients requiring dialysis 2-3 times a week to survive. Conservatively estimating a requirement of around 200,000 dialysis machines to serve these patients, only around 35,000 are operational - primarily in affluent, urban areas.
The annual cost of dialysis is high given the low average incomes of many of these patients – the dialysis cost of approximately INR 0.24 million per patient per year, which further increases significantly in remote rural areas due to travel expenses, loss of earning work hours and cost of accompanying family members etc making the treatment non affordable to many of the underserved population.
The acute demand-supply imbalance leads to extended waiting lists, patient drop-offs, and preventable deaths. Addressing this gap is critical to saving lives and improving the quality of life of a large and growing number of patients and their families.
SOTC with the help of Fairfax India Charitable Foundation is expanding access to quality and affordable dialysis care, particularly in rural and underserved regions across India.
