Arena di Verona Summer Opera Season

The Arena di Verona is an ancient Roman amphitheater in Verona which opens its summer opera season with Nabucco. This popular summer opera festival brings a crowd as huge as 16,000 people to each opera production.

International Festival of Lyric Art, Aix-en-Provence, France

This opera festival has tons to offer. Hosted in Aix-en-Provence this festival presents its visitors with opera, concerts of orchestral, chamber, vocal and solo instrumental music. It’s a medley you should experience at least once.

The Holland Festival, Netherlands

This unique performing arts festival features theater, music, opera. ballet and modern dance as well as visual art and film. Performances take place throughout Amsterdam at the city theatre, the opera, and the Westergas factory.

BBC Proms, London

The BBC Proms hosts concerts at the Royal Albert Hal and chamber music recitals at Cadogan Hall. People can stroll around in the concert hall during the performances, with PROM being the area in the hall where the audience stands. They call it the best place in the house to be in.

Salzburg Festival
