How to reach Singapore

The world’s only island city-state is a spectacular locale and is identified as one of hottest holiday destinations in the Southeast Asia. Travelling to this beautiful destination is quite easy with its effortless connectivity from across the world. By air, Singapore is a well-connected state to most of the countries in the world. From India, direct flights to Singapore are available from the cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. Almost all international airlines fly to the Changi Airport, located in the eastern region of Singapore. The Singapore Changi Airport currently holds the pride of being world’s best airport and is one of the largest transportation hubs in Southeast Asia.

Once reached to Singapore, various public transportation means are available including buses, taxies and trains. Cabs in Singapore are the most popular mode of transportation and are cheaper too. MRT (Mass Rapid Transport) and more recently added LRT (Light Rapid Transport) are two train systems that serve public in the state. The trains are the best option to avoid traffic congestion while travelling across the state. EZ-link cards are also available with the top-up facility to make commuting fuss-free. Though the public transports occasionally go crowded during peak hours, one can take the liberty of travelling by taxi to avoid the chaos.
