It’s very important that you do your groundwork before you travel to Greece. Here are a few points that you need to remember when you apply for your visa:
Indian passport holders need to apply for a Schengen Visa if they wish to visit Greece. This visa allows you to visit various other countries in the Schengen area. You will be required to show your travel insurance papers and a valid ticket along with your visa documentation.
Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date.
If you are a citizen of the Member-States of the Schengen Agreement, you can visit any of the Schengen countries without a visa for 3 months.
Members of non-E.U. countries like Canada, Chile, Croatia, Singapore, are also not required to have a pre-approved visa to visit Greece up to 3 months.
It is always good if you apply for you visa one month in advance so that you don’t have to panic towards the end. For a hassle free Greece tour, browse through our all inclusive Greece holiday packages.
