The festival of Kutch is an annual extravaganza organized by the Gujarat government in the Dhordo district. The vast white salty beaches of the Rann of Kutch look ethereal and otherworldly in the wintry months when the festival plays out. The profusion of festivities, musical performances and folk dances to which the region reverberates, highlight the multicultural, ancient and earthy spirit of the state itself.\u00a0 The festival continues for nearly five months. Where should you stay?<\/strong><\/p>

Innumerable tents, which are chief among all Rann of Kutch attractions, are erected in Dhordo before the festival kicks off. These glorious colourful tents are extremely cosy and comfortable. There are both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned variants. Guests are advised to stay in these tents to fully soak in the festival vibes. The tents are adequately furnished and provide travellers with all the necessary amenities like constant supply of water, even in the midst of a desert. You can also lodge at nearby homestays. There are numerous food stalls in the tent city that promise delicious Kutchi delicacies. Moreover, food is available round the clock.<\/p>
