The Niagara Falls, along the US-Canada border, is iconic. The waters from Lake Erie cascade down a high and vertical cliff into Lake Ontario. There are three sets of falls, namely the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The volume of water flowing over the falls decreases in the winter. One of the world\u2019s most photographed natural attractions, the Grand Canyon was carved out by the Colorado River in Arizona and is rimmed by the very popular Grand Canyon National Park. A walkway with multiple viewing stations helps tourists get a closer look at the numerous ridges and cliffs and the floor of the canyon a mile below them. And, when the bridge is sheathed in mist with the two triangular towers peeking out, it looks regal against the San Francisco skyline.<\/p>
