5 ways to add some excitement to your travel day in Dubai Lessons from the Far East

Dubai, that glittering Emirate known to most as the luxury shopping destination set against ultramodern architecture. In addition to this, Dubai has a rocking nightlife and it’s the only Emirate where liquor is allowed. Towering at central Dubai is Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Standing tall at 830 meters, one can see the curve of our planet from its top floor! If the domineering building is not enough, there are water jets choreographed to music for a fascinating display of sound, water, and light. In all these commotion, how can one forget the Atlantis? This palm shaped resort sports huge water parks and marine-animal parks.

Between all these things, it’s easy to forget simple things that make Dubai city special. In this blog, instead of discussing our Dubai Holiday Packages, we bring you 5 ways through which you can a little more excitement to your travel to Dubai.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Dubai has an amazing infrastructure that supports an indoor skiing and snowboarding facility in the middle of a desert. This facility has 5 slopes and a 60 meter tall mountain with varying degree of slopes and a 400-meter long run—the world’s first indoor black run and a 90-meter quarter pipe for snowboarding. This skiing and snowboarding facility is for young and adults alike.

Wild Wadi Water Theme Park

Welcome to one of the most advanced water parks in the world. Located between Burj-al-Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Wild Wadi water park has numerous rides with multiple variations. This place guarantees fun for the entire family. Once you buy the entry ticket to wild wadi, then all rides are accessible. Tickets are available in two variants: one that’s valid for few hours and the other is a full day ticket.

Desert Safari

When in Dubai, travel through the sands like the Arabs. The details and arrangements for a desert safari are usually available with the hotel management. Ensure that a safari is part of your Dubai Tour Package. The desert safari lasts for about 90mins. The safari ends with you witnessing an amazing subset over the Amber sands of Dubai desert.

Each safari has an option of spending the evening in the desert with BBQ and belly dancers or head back to the hotel.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Enjoy the aerial view of Dubai’s skyline with a hot air balloon ride. A hot air balloon ride is better than a helicopter ride, esp when the skyline is as diverse as Dubai. You get enough time to admire (and shoot selfies?) Dubai’s man made wonders such as The Palm, The world, Jumeirah Beach, Dubai Marina or simply witness the sunrise.

Hot air balloon rides can be arranged from your hotel. Your hotel management will help you with all the details. Otherwise, you can contact the agencies directly such as Amigos Balloons, Dream Days and Viator Tours.

Scuba Diving

If you have a scuba diving license, then you should definitely try scuba diving in the Dubai waters. The water off Dubai coast has baby sharks and barracudas.
